Alan Moore calls Before Watchmen "DC soiling themselves in public" and a "reputation killer"

Writer Kurt Amacker, who has done a long history of interviews with comics legend Alan Moore recently conducted another lengthy one for the website Seraphemera.org . In this long interview Amacker naturally brought the conversation to all things Watchmen including DC's forthcoming Before Watchmen prequels, Dave Gibbons and the infamous contract with DC that has seen Moore's attempts of regaining the character rights stymied by the continual publication of the seminal work. Again the interview is quite long but I'll pull a few interesting quotes out for enlightenment and discussion. On Dave Gibbons: The money would’ve been from DC. He was acting as an intermediary. He told me they were planning to do these prequels and sequels, and that he had been offered something in the region of a quarter of a million dollars to oversee the project–that it would be handled by the top talent in the industry, to which I said some quite intemperate things. First Look at the new Thor and 'old' Thor character designs

Marvel had released some images of the new female Thor following the announcement on the View last week. Well incoming series artist Russell Dauterman has posted his designs on Tumblr for the characters; both the new female and the 'original' Thor, now known to be unworthy to carry the hammer anymore. I actually like these designs. He's carried over the Chris Hemsworth hairstyle from the movies on his redesign for the Odinson. While the helmet is a bit large on the new Thor I do understand that Marvel is playing up the mystery of who it is carrying the hammer so it makes sense from a story point.

DC debuts new logo and branding
