Marvel announced today that beginning with Star Wars #38, coming out this fall, the new creative team will be writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larocca. It should not be that big of a switch for the new team as they were the creative behind the first volume of the Darth Vader title. Gillen also co-wrote a couple of issues of the title with outgoing writer Jason Aaron during the Vader Down event. No word from Marvel as to the reason behind the creative team shake-up as Aaron had been with the book since issue 1.
