As advance screenings of Captain America: The Winter Soldier roll out in a few cities some new information is rolling out as well, including news that Joss Whedon has directed one of two post credit scenes that are attached to the movie. Naturally his scene ties this movie even closer to Whedon's upcoming The Avengers: Age of Ultron film.
SPOILERS to follow for those who don't want to know details of these bonus scenes!
CinemaBlend is reporting that Whedon's scene has Baron Von Strucker- played by Thomas Kretschmann- in an underground lair where he has two people held captive. Those people are the Maximoff twins, Pietro and Wanda. This is our first look at Aaron Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in the roles. We also are given a taste of their powers as Pietro demonstrates his speed by running around their cell and Wanda is moving items such as blocks with her mind. This scene is shown mid-credits.
The second scene comes after the credits have wrapped and features the Winter Soldier at the Smithsonian visiting the Captain America exhibit. He is paying close attention to the pictures and items marked 'Bucky Barnes'.
