After a long series of delays Fox has set a release date of July 26, 2013 for 'The Wolverine'. the sequel to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Hugh Jackman will be back as the title character and James Mangold is set to direct. The script is being fine tuned by Mangold. It was originally written by Christopher McQuarrie, with rewrites by Mark Bomback. The screenplay itself is based on the classic Chris Claremont and Frank Miller Wolverine miniseries from 1982.
