Captain America Gears Up in New SDCC print by Alex Ross

The print, titled “Captain America: Ready for Battle,” shows the titular hero suiting up, readying his gloves, boots, mask and iconic shield for an upcoming fight. The print can be found at Alex Ross Art at Comic-Con, located at Booth #2415. According to a description from Alex Ross Art, the print is a tribute to the classic comic cover Invincible Iron Man #126 by Bob Layton and John Romita, Jr. The print was originally created for Marvel Legacy: Captain America #695.

First look at Batman #11; Batman vs. his brother?!

DC has released a few pages of this week's Batman #11, thr conclusion of the Nite of the Owls storyline. So is the final Talon really Bruce's brother as writer Scott Snyder dropped on us with the last issue? Snyder has been doing a legendary run on the character for several years now and this issue is going to wrap up lots of his subplots that have been going through all his Bat-work. And of course the art is by the fabulous Greg Capullo.

Alan Moore calls Before Watchmen "DC soiling themselves in public" and a "reputation killer"

Writer Kurt Amacker, who has done a long history of interviews with comics legend Alan Moore recently conducted another lengthy one for the website Seraphemera.org . In this long interview Amacker naturally brought the conversation to all things Watchmen including DC's forthcoming Before Watchmen prequels, Dave Gibbons and the infamous contract with DC that has seen Moore's attempts of regaining the character rights stymied by the continual publication of the seminal work. Again the interview is quite long but I'll pull a few interesting quotes out for enlightenment and discussion. On Dave Gibbons: The money would’ve been from DC. He was acting as an intermediary.
