Love That Panel: Batwing #31 by Dan Panosian

This installment of Love That Panel, a semi-regular feature at The Comics Ticker, takes us past the individual comic book panel and to the cover of the book itself. Last week's Batwing #31 from DC Comics features a masterpiece of a cover by artist Dan Panosian. From the intricate and hand drawn architectural detail of the building to the use of it draw us up to the smaller focal point of the cover- Batwing himself- Panosian sets this cover apart from 98% of what we normally see on the shelves. The starkness of the pale yellow background further brings out the features of the building- how can you not stop staring at those details? A masterwork.
