First Official Still from Guardians of the Galaxy

Disney and Marvel Studios released the first official still image from Guardians of the Galaxy. The picture looks to be taken from the SDCC footage from this past summer. It's based on promotional art Marvel's used for the film.

Daredevil Season 2 and Jessica Jones Season 1 Coming to Blu-Ray

Disney has announced both series will be released on Blu-Ray on August 22nd. This is following the release of The Defenders on Netflix on Friday August 18. See below for the comic book inspired artwork that will be used for the collectible cases.

SDCC rumor mill: 'Thor 2' will be called...

One of the many, many rumors floating around the floor and panels of the San Diego Comic Con is that the official name for Marvel Studios' soon to be filming Thor sequel will not be the expected Thor 2 but instead it will be called Thor: The Darkest World. I'm assuming that some kind of official confirmation will come during SDCC. I like the title and a curious as to how it connects to the plot of the film.

Love That Panel: Captain America by Shirow Miwa

Manga artist Shirow Miwa, best known for Dogs , has recently tweeted a series of sketches he has created inspired by Captain America: The Winter Soldie r. He has some great sketches of the Black Widow and the Winter Soldier but the one that caught my eye the most was this picture of Captain America in his SHIELD uniform. It's all done in an ink wash that evokes a style of manga art that stays true to the look of the movie and also the comic books. For more of his work click this LINK.
