Love That Panel- The Haunted Tank by Henry Flint

Here is a look at a special commission piece by Judge Dredd and 2000 AD artist Henry Flint of DC Comics' The Haunted Tank. When I was a kid I loved following the adventures of the Haunted Tank and crew in the pages of G.I. Combat. I think if I would have seen something as awesome as this back then it would have blown my mind.

Avengers 2 update- Seven Awesome Things

We all know that director Joss Whedon is a very busy man right now with finishing the screenplay for Marvels's The Avengers 2 and directing the pilot episode of Marvel's SHIELD TV show. But even with all that and the press machine starting for May's Iron Man 3, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was able to hint at a few things in a recent interview with MTV News. According to Feige:
"It's still early days but I told [Whedon] after reading the first sketch outline he delivered — and there's a lot of work still to do, he has to sit down and turn this into a movie — but there are already seven things in there that are worth the price of admission alone."
He also stated that teasing those things right now would not help since many of them won't make sense until fans have seen upcoming movies like Captain America: Winter Soldier. Seeds for Marvel's Phase 2 will be in IM3 and will be more apparent after the release of Marvel's The Avengers 2.

Dale Keown's The Walking Dead cover for Hero Initiative

Back in September 2012 The Hero Initiative, the charity dedicated to helping comic book creators and professionals, announced that the latest series chosen for their '100 Projects' would be Robert Kirkman's media sensation The Walking Dead. At the the time Kirkman said:
The Walking Dead would have never become the success it's become without the trailblazers who put in the hard work to make this industry live on into the future,” said Kirkman. “Doing things like this for The Hero Initiative, which helps creators who have fallen on hard times, is a way for Charlie Adlard and I to give back to the community that has provided us with countless hours of entertainment and also a pretty cushy living. Simply put, it's the right thing to do.”
Below is Dale Keown's cover. For more information on the Hero Initiative and the auction of the 100 covers please click this LINK.
