DC released the cover for November's Batman #36 by artist Greg Capullo. The stark black and yellow cover- along with the title lettering- evokes the classic Watchmen look for this cover. It has the minimalist feel that at the same time carries with it a heavy sense of atmosphere and emotion.
I love Greg Capullo on Batman- this is the book he was made to draw and this cover- as simplistic as some might regard the design- just further brings it home for me.
